A short time ago, a life long dream of mine: I got a pilot’s license. It took me three years to get it and let me tell you, it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done. After getting my license, I took a Cessna from Craig Airfield in Jacksonville to Jekyll Island, GA. There’s a small airstrip on the island and one of the nicest FBO managers you’ll ever meet. You can rent an electric buggy there (they give a discount to pilots) and explore the island. Even if you don’t fly, stop in and say hello.

Back from the dark depths of the Wayback Machine, Mermaids and Tales has returned!

Well..sort of.

The new design is almost finished and we’re still pulling and compiling our old stories for the new site and after that is done expect all new stories and more frequent updates. No more once a year crap.
